As I Sit Waiting responds to the political and personal realities of how bodies are shaped, regulated, and remembered through institutions of care and containment. Some works incorporate found domestic seating, while others are fully abstract, yet all adopt postures of leaning, sagging, or resisting that reference embodied experiences of tending and constraint.
